From the day we opened in 2006, people have asked us “Why (did you name your biz) RESCUE?
The answer is simple…Lenn and I wanted to open a massage center where people could be ’saved’. Saved from pain and stress related physical problems–hence the name Rescue.
We wanted the everyday man to be able to take advantage of the healing properties of massage that we had both experienced. When we opened Rescue 3-years ago massage was expensive ($120 an hour) and obtainable at high-end spas or cheaper at low-quality locations…neither of which were acceptable to us.
We also wanted to offer complementary alternative methods of healing to the Redondo Beach community. Rather than popping pills, which often disguises symptoms rather than healing them, frequent massage can provide a quiet environment for deep and thoughtful physical therapy.
Everyone needs to be resuced at some point… and we’re here for you 6-days a week.

Rescue Follows Starbucks “Business” Promise
Long before we actually opened the doors, Rescue’s founder read about Howard Schultz, Starbuck’s CEO, and his motto “give customers more than they expect and they’ll reward you with their loyalty”.
At Rescue, we’ve always focused on the customer experience. Beginning with how we greet our customers to how we behave on the phone, to making sure we serve a cup of cool fresh water after each and every treatment.
We survey each new client to help us acquire feedback about our service and facility. We want to be the BEST MASSAGE SPA IN THE SOUTH BAY – on every level, and every day. Please let us know what you think!

Rescue was awarded “#1 Massage in the South Bay” in a recent contest hosted by the Beach Reporter newspaper -Best of the Beach 2009.
Wow, only 7 months after winning “Reader Favorite” by the Daily Breeze readers, we can’t express how grateful we are to our clients and fans!
